The developed by Daniel Marshal Program (De)Coder is now - after a long break - released in version 4.0. There are a number of innovations e.g. an optimum data security through the AES standard. New features:

* Own file type (*.dc4) - configurable

Version 4.1 contains a number of innovations and improvements. Some of them are:

* Secure delete
* Safe move
* Direct open
* Maximum security
* File lists
Information: (De)Coder 4.0 is not
downwards compatible. This means that files with older versions of (De)Coder no longer can be imported. Due to the low security of the old versions they are also no longer available from the official download sources. The developer Daniel Marshall offers support for (De)Coder version 3.0. If you have old files but not the software you can contact ViaThinkSoft for (De)Coder 3.2.
